JKBOSE Set to Announce 10th and 12th Results Together for the First Time: Here’s the Latest Update

In a historic move, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is planning to announce the results of Class 10th and 12th together for the very first time.

Speaking to Kashmir News Observer (KNO), top officials from JKBOSE revealed that they are working hard to create a new trend of releasing multiple exam results on the same day. As per the latest update, the board is aiming to declare both results either by April 30 or May 1, 2025.

An official said,

"There is an 80 percent chance that we will announce the Class 12th results on April 30. However, if any minor delay happens, we will release them on May 1."

What’s even more exciting is that Class 10th results may also be announced on the same day, along with Class 12th results. However, the board has kept a flexible window for the Class 10th results between April 30 and May 2.

The JKBOSE official added,

"We want to set a new precedent by announcing different class results on the same day. Our staff is working round the clock to make this happen."

Number of Students Awaiting Results

This year, nearly 3,55,963 students appeared in the annual regular examinations for Class 10th, 11th, and 12th:

• 10th Class: 1,32,992 students
• 11th Class: 1,20,673 students
• 12th Class: 1,02,298 students

Final Push from Authorities

The Education Minister, Sakina Itoo, has already directed the JKBOSE and concerned teams to ensure the results are declared by April 30. This has further motivated the board’s staff to work day and night to meet the target.
