JKBOSE May Declare Class 10th & 12th Results Together: April 30 or May 1 Likely Dates
Srinagar, April 29, 2025 – In a major update for thousands of students across Jammu and Kashmir, the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is considering declaring the Class 10th and 12th annual exam results on the same day, either on April 30 or May 1.
A top JKBOSE official, while speaking to Greater Kashmir, confirmed that the board is actively exploring this possibility. However, the final decision largely hinges on server capacity and technical infrastructure.
“Anything is possible in today’s technological world but our concern is server capacity,” the official stated.
Private Network May Be Used to Avoid Server Crash
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for students, the board is planning to hire a private network service. This step aims to enhance server strength so that students can easily access their results without any delays or website crashes.
“We don’t want students to face problems while checking results. We are doing everything in their interest, including using social media to share the result gazette and reduce website load,” the official added.
Class 12th in Morning, Class 10th in Evening
In an innovative move, JKBOSE may declare the Class 12th results in the morning hours, followed by the Class 10th results in the afternoon or evening, with a planned 8–9 hour gap between them. This staggered approach will help reduce the load on the official result website.
Result Date Still Tentative
While there is a 90% chance that results will be declared on April 30, the official noted that the final nod from the computing agency is still awaited. If not on April 30, the results will be out on May 1, 2025.
“The result compilation is complete. We're just waiting for the technical clearance from the result computing agency,” the official mentioned.
