UG Admission Notification Released for All Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir – Session 2025

We are glad to inform all students that the Undergraduate (UG) Admission Notification for all colleges across Jammu & Kashmir has been officially released. Whether you appeared in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) or not, you are eligible to apply for UG courses this year.

The new format for undergraduate programs is now called the "3+1 Year Honours Program". If you are planning to pursue BCA, BBA, or any general UG course, this is the right time to apply.

📌 Important Details:

🔹 Registration Starts:
👉 16th June 2025, 5:00 PM
🔹 Last Date for Registration:
👉 7th July 2025

All students must register on the official JK Admission Samarth Portal, the link of which will be activated on 16th June at 5:00 PM.

📝 Documents Required for Registration:

12th Class Marks Sheet
10th Class Marks Sheet
Recent Passport Size Photograph
Aadhaar Card
Domicile Certificate
Category Certificate (if applicable)

🎓 Preference Filling for Courses and Colleges:

After registration, students will be asked to fill their preferences (course & college choices). This window will be open from:

👉 3rd July to 9th July 2025
(Subject to CUET result declaration – if delayed, this schedule may shift.)

You can select your preferred college and subject during this time. This applies to all government and private degree colleges – whether you want to apply in Amar Singh College Srinagar, SP College, Pulwama Degree College, or any other college in the UT.

1st Round of Admission:
🗓️ 11th to 15th July 2025
2nd Round (Upgradation or Fresh):
🗓️ 17th to 20th July 2025
3rd Round of Admission:
🗓️ 23rd to 26th July 2025
Spot Round (for remaining seats):
🗓️ 28th to 31st July 2025

⚖️ CUET vs Non-CUET Students:

CUET-qualified students will get admission on the basis of their CUET scores in CUET-participating colleges.
Non-CUET students will be considered based on 12th class marks for non-CUET colleges.
